As part of our commitment to team wellness, we introduced our Resilience Programme – a dedicated space to strengthen emotional agility and build the inner resources needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. This initiative was more than a response to challenges, it’s a proactive approach to empowering our team to show up with confidence and maintain positive mental health through turbulent times, professionally or personally.

Resilience is one of the most critical skills in the workplace today and, as with all skills, it’s learnable.

Our ‘why’ was to

  • Grow our capacity to navigate adversities, stress, and challenges.
  • Expand our growth mindset and maintain positive mental health, self-belief, and confidence.
  • Hold ourselves in high regard as confident and worthy consultants, every day.
  • Continue to be recognised as a great place to work, delivering consistent client delight and a strong ROI for our clients.

How did we do it?
We created a two-part programme. Part one was a questionnaire where the team were invited to score their resilience in each of the areas that impacts it – energy, future focus, inner drive, flexible thinking and relationships.

For the second part of the programme, we each had 1-2-1 conversations with a life/career coach where tailored conversations supported every individual in the elements, they most needed to focus. From there, the team experienced improvement in their resilience, their self-belief strengthened and their confidence and energy, professionally and personally, expanded.

During the 1-2-1 sessions, they defined ways of working that keep self-belief and confidence front and centre, every day.
The impact is the delivery of client delight and ongoing success for Wild Card and our team.

The return on this investment of time is a team who feel valued, supported and listened to. It shows in their commitment, dedication and loyalty to each other and to our clients.
