ByRuby has chosen Wild Card as its retained PR partner as it celebrates its launch into national grocery retail with a listing in Waitrose.
ByRuby: what you need to know
The hand-made frozen meal brand was launched by Leiths-trained chef Ruby Bell, alongside co-founder Milly Bagot, to make delicious and nourishing frozen meals accessible to a wider market of shoppers.
The goal for ByRuby is to stock freezers with high-quality and ethically sourced meals for the whole family to enjoy. The recipes are designed with total convenience in mind. Those who lack the time, or the inspiration, to cook a delicious meal from scratch do not need to compromise on ingredients or flavour with ByRuby.
How Wild Card is supporting ByRuby’s PR efforts
Wild Card’s remit is to support the brand’s growth in grocery retail, driving shoppers into the frozen aisle to pick up their premium meals, as well as to aid the brand on its mission to revolutionise the freezer aisle in the eyes of the consumer, with its high-quality pre-prepared meals.
Ruby Bell, chef and Co-Founder of ByRuby, says, “We are delighted to have joined forces with Wild Card at such a key milestone for the business. We needed a foodie agency partner that understands the challenges faced by founder-led FMCG start-ups, and Wild Card really fit the bill.”
Georgie Upton, Managing Director at Wild Card, says, “From the moment we met the team at ByRuby, we knew we wanted to work with them. We have utmost confidence in the product range, and the delicious upgrade it brings to the frozen aisle. We anticipate a fantastic reaction from both media and consumers alike.”
The account will be managed by the agency’s FMCG Division from its London HQ.
