Here at Wild Card, we continue to see growing success in the FMCG industry as we build our reputation for delivering outstanding results for our clients. This has resulted in us partnering with some really exciting brands, and our latest is no different. We’re delighted to be working with CafePod on retained basis.

This comes as news of London-based, independent coffee brand, CafePod, chose Wild Card as its retained PR partner to join them on their journey of helping consumers enjoy great coffee at home.

All you need to know about CafePod

The innovative coffee brand was co-founded by entrepreneur Peter Grainger and two friends in 2010 and was one of the first to make Nespresso® compatible coffee pods.

The goal for CafePod is to make the experience of having coffee at home exciting and easy. CafePod is a Great Taste Producer, with 12 delicious coffee blends including bestsellers Supercharger Espresso and Brunch Blend, five delightful, flavoured coffees and two astonishingly good decaf coffees.

How Wild Card will be supporting CafePod

Wild Card’s remit is to support the brand’s growth in 2023 by driving brand awareness with target consumers and creating noise around CafePod’s innovative new products coming later in the year.

CafePod is available in Tesco, Waitrose, Ocado and Amazon. The brand also has a thriving DTC business which Wild Card will help to drive traffic to throughout 2023.

Vic Russell, Head of Marketing, CafePod, says, “We are delighted to have joined forces with Wild Card ahead of a big year for the brand. We needed an agency partner that was as excited by our products as we are, but also with strong food and drink credentials. Wild Card has that, as well as a great understanding of founder-led, challenger FMCG brands.”

Georgie Upton, Managing Director at Wild Card, says, “Coffee is a daily staple for a lot of people, and we will be telling the CafePod story to the right people at the right time with earned media sat at the heart of our activations.  Not enough people know about this great business – and so that’s why we are here. They have a lot happening this year and we’re looking forward to activating impactful campaigns to drive CafePod brand awareness.”

The account will be managed by the agency’s FMCG Division from its London HQ.
